Yvette McField was born in George Town, Grand Cayman. As a child, she was always the one that was happiest holding the camera while most children wanted to pose for it. The time came when she finally got to hold her camera (35mm SLR) and she had the perfect occasion to use it. At a summer camp that she funded, images from the beach trip entered into the Cayfest Photography contest and even though she didn’t win. One of the images did get an honorable mention. In 1990, she got the chance to work at Rapid Photo a long-standing photo studio in the Cayman Islands in customer service, and quickly rose to the ranks of Photographer. It’s been a long time since then, but Yvette still believes that thru hard work and positive thinking all things are possible. Her work has been exhibited in such shows as Marked for Life, McCoy Prize, etc., and published in Cayman Net News, Cayman Compass, and Inspire Magazine.
Today, Yvette works as a Freelance Photographer specializing in portraits, Weddings, Corporate events, she takes pride in her ability to bring out the best in her clients.
